Screen savers are very easy to install. All you really have to do (if you use Windows 95 or higher) is make sure the screen saver is in your Windows folder or Windows/System folder. Good screen savers come with setup files that will automatically install them there, but there are some that you have to install yourself.
Access your Control Panel folder in the Settings section of the Start menu, and select Display from the choice of icons. Click on the Screen Saver tab to bring up the section pictured below.
The drop down list should show all the screen savers you've got on your system. From this window, you can change the settings, and preview your savers before setting them. That's all there is too it. You screen saver should start up the next time your system is idle, depending on how many minutes you set it for.
