Celebrity Desktop™ has been around since 1998 and currently pulls 1.5 to 2 million pageviews a month. We feel we are the premier celebrity software directory on the web with our daily updates, and many additional features like postcards, contests, games and more. This site has been mentioned in media outlets such as USA Today and Comedy Central, to name a few. Our target audience are teens and college students who are looking to customize their personal computers with things such as wallpaper images and screen savers displaying their favorite movies and/or celebrities.

We have a variety of ad sizes and space available here at Celebrity Desktop. Currently we use a few popular ad networks to fill ad inventory on the site. However, we have a system in place that allows us to disable the ads by these networks and insert yours into specific pages.

Please note that a lot of our listings span several pages. Your ad(s) will appear on all of the pages in the section you choose to advertise on. When the section expands as more listings are added, your campaign(s) will be automatically generated on those new pages as well.

Below are the main ad formats used on this site and some pricing. Pricing is based on type of ads, how popular a celebrity/section of the site is.

Our main banner formats is the standard 728x90 leaderboard.

This space can also be used for the smaller 468x60 size banners, but we recommend 728x90.

These are high visibility at the top of all pages throughout the site.

Types of advertisements we accept in this space are graphics (static banner or animated gif), rich media (flash, interaction) and Google style text links (detailed below under the Text Link section).

On the side of all our content pages are the standard skyscraper banner ads.

The most common size is: 160x600.

Other sizes available include: 120x600 (standard), 130x600, 140x600, 150x600 (non-standard).

Text link ad space is available above our listings on all celebrity, movie and television show pages.

However, these are limited to related web sites.

For example, in the Jessica Simpson section seen in the image to the right, there are paid links to Jessica Simpson related web sites and services. These are just standard links with no descriptions. The anchor text should be brief and descriptive. These links are available with or without small bullet graphics and with or without "Sponsored Links" text placed below them.

PRICING: These high visibility text links are priced at $25 - $50 a month, depending on how popular the celebrity in question is and how many pages are available in that section. Volume discounts available. Contact us with information on which page(s) you'd like your text link(s) to appear, what you'd like to link to, and we'll give you a quote.

For non-celebrity related text links, consider a Google style 728x90 Leaderboard at the top of the page, or a 160x600 skyscraper seen to the right of our listings.

These do not need to be related to the specific content on the page, but they can be if you'd like to promote multiple sites or services related to that celebrity and would also like to provide a text description with your link(s).

PRICING: These detailed text links are currently priced at $50 - $150 per month, depending on how popular the celebrity in question is and how many pges are available in that section. Volume discounts are available. Contact us with information on which page(s) you'd like your text link(s) to appear, what you'd like to link to, and we'll give you a quote.

For increased visibility, we like to keep these limited to 3 or 4 links per block. For even more increased visibility, a half-sized graphic can also be used in this space if you do not have multiple links.

For example, if you have a web site that sells music and videos and you'd like to target fans of Avril Lavigne, then using a photo of her for half the banner space, along with multiple text links to purchase her latest CD and DVD on the other half can be very effective and eye-catching.

Popup campaigns are available. Just tell us which page(s) you'd like yours to appear and we'll give you a quote. Popups are first come first serve. If you purchase a popup on a page, then you can rest assured no other popup will appear on that particular page. We currently use an ad agency to fill ad inventory throughout the site. Their ads can be disabled on specific page(s) where your ad(s) appear.

We're very flexible with the ad space on the site. If you have something specific or creative in mind that you'd like to do, let us know and we'll see if it's feasible. We also do buttons, rectangles, insertials and just about any other standard banners as defined by the Internet Advertising Bureau.

We currently do not accept any type of adult ads or links. PG-13 is what we go for here. Popups that spawn other popups are also not accepted.
